Installer Technician

La Grange Overhead Door, Inc. seeks garage door installers and helpers to install new doors, door operators and related accessories in South Central Texas areas surrounding La Grange, Texas.
JOB
Responsibilities:
o Drive to the jobsite per instruction of manager, assess customer's installation needs and complete the install of the product to the customer's satisfaction and complete documentation.
o Consistently seek and promote business opportunities for service, sales and preventative maintenance contracts. Acquire knowledge of all products and pricing to be capable of pricing, marketing, and selling replacement products and repair parts.
o Further develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques and remain current with product requirements for installing material to meet safety specifications while maintaining quality workmanship with minimal warranty.
o Maintain safe working environment and upon completion of day's work ensure job site is clean and clear of debris.
o Ensure that all job tickets and time sheets are completed, signed and submitted accurately to ensure all tickets are processed in a timely manner and all time sheets reach the payroll department before cutoff.
o Complete all job tickets and collects COD's when applicable; call management if a problem occurs with the collection or scope of work changes.
o Maintain inventory on truck and have knowledge and understanding of all parts, part numbers and part descriptions
o Other duties may be assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
