You will be trusted to:
o Partners with plant management, engineering, asset management, maintenance and construction, supply chain, and SME's in support of organizational goals. o Reviews scheduled work orders with crews daily and reviews safety requirements or concerns for each scheduled job. o Provides day to day leadership and management to assigned work crew to ensure tasks are being completed as planned. o Monitors the progress of all ongoing work and provides support to crew members to ensure jobs can be completed safely and efficiently. o Provides expertise and monitors the completion of complex and detailed repairs, installation and maintenance of equipment in assigned area. o Works with scheduling functions to develop available employee-hour forecast for all scheduling periods to include tracking upcoming annual leave, sick leave, training, meetings, etc. so that all available employee hours can be scheduled. o Accountable for crew member's safety performance, job performance, training needs, and adherence to company policies and procedures. o Monitors individual employee performance and provides regular feedback to employees. o Develops and tracks appropriate metrics to track the effectiveness of our work processes. o Coordinates with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and Authorized inspection agencies, scheduling Boiler Internal/External inspections and extension requests for plant operating certificates. You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance or engineering. - A degree(s) in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. - Driver's license You are a great fit with:
- Proven track record of leadership and creating an environment of employee involvement and continuous improvement. - Experience in operating and maintaining conventional gas and coal fired power plants. - Experience in operating and maintaining a combustion turbine based power plant is a plus. - Experience in developing and tracking budgets. - Experience in maintenance planning principles, including work package development and PM development. - Experience in non-destructive examination (NDE), oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, transformer testing, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and other applicable PDM tools. - Experience in developing and implementing CMMS processes. - Experience with Maximo is a plus. - Experience in piping classification codes, LCRA welding procedure. - Experience in LCRA's Repair and Alteration Quality Control Manuel.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
